Carrie O’Brien

Carrie helps people who have been harmed and is a spirited advocate in and outside of the courtroom. She focuses on cases involving Automobile Accidents, Motorcycle Accidents, Tractor-Trailer Accidents, Products Liability, Child Injuries, Nursing Home Abuse and Neglect, Insurance Bad Faith, Premises Liability, Construction Litigation, and Wrongful Death. Carrie has successfully tried more than 100 cases to verdict in state and federal court in both, South Carolina and North Carolina.

A native of Charleston, South Carolina, Carrie received a Bachelor of Science degree from College of Charleston where she graduated with honors. Carrie then attended University of South Carolina School of Law where she successfully competed on the Mock Trial Competition team.

Following law school, Carrie had the privilege of clerking for the Honorable R. Markley Dennis, Jr. of Charleston, South Carolina. She then moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where she has spent the majority of her career representing insurance companies in South Carolina and North Carolina. Carrie has the unique experience of being trained by and understanding insurance companies- – the same companies she now chooses to litigate against.

Carrie enjoys sports, cooking, anything involving the sun, and traveling. Carrie lives with her two favorite people, who also happen to be her children, and their King Charles Cavalier.
